Tour Rooms

We offer three second-floor guest rooms for your stay. All three rooms have queen-sized beds, private baths, and cable television. Each room has plank flooring, accent carpets, high ceilings, large windows and ceiling fans. Wireless Internet and central air-conditioning are available in the bedrooms and throughout the house. For added warmth in the winter and ambiance in the summer, electric fireplaces adorn each room.  Availability can be checked on the room pages, however while we make a reasonable effort to keep our availability up to date, the availability display is not ‘real-time’.

 

Wayne Room (Nightly-$120/double occupancy)The James Manning House - Wayne Room
Our largest guest room features a queen-sized sleigh bed surrounded by antiques and memoirs of Wayne County. The large windows make this room bright and cheery, with the southern view overlooking the gardens and small fishpond. An early riser is treated to spectacular sunrises over the Honesdale valley below. The décor in this room is accented with burgundy and bits and pieces of the abundant nature Wayne County has to offer. A day bed offers sleeping for an additional traveler or a cozy sitting area to read or relax. The Wayne room has a private bath with walk-in shower. Fluffy robes are provided for your convenience.

Drift off to sleep with thoughts of a simpler life when your stay includes our Lancaster room. Decorated with authentic Amish quilts and pictures of the Lancaster County countryside this room will take your daily stress away. The room features a queen-size maple pencil post bed, antique writing desk and stained glass accent. A step outside your room is your private full bath including bathtub and original pedestal sink. Fluffy robes and a privacy screen,                                                                  if  desired, are provided for you.

Berks Room (Nightly-$120/double occupancy)The James Manning House Bed and Breakfast - Berks Room
Retreat to the quiet greens of the Berks room for a restful night’s sleep. The wrap-around cannonball oak headboard sets this queen-sized bed as a centerpiece. Berks County Pennsylvania Dutch heritage is featured throughout this room, from the handmade quilt on the bed to the hex signs on the walls. The quaint private bath has a walk-in shower and is located within your room. Fluffy robes are provided for your convenience.
