If you’ve been to our bed and breakfast you surely know we like to collect old things, some might even be called antiques. Frequently I hear guests say, “There’s so much to see, something everywhere I look”. We enjoy finding these treasures, but also tell guests if they see something they like to make an offer, most things are for sale. And with all the spaces filled, I can’t go treasure hunting for more! Once in a while a piece has a special appeal, such as this Irish whiskey cart. It came with the property and sat under the tree just being picturesque, vines growing through it in summer and winter catching the rails in winter. That is until last summer when the cart and the lawn tractor had a collision. As many of the metal pieces were saved as could be. We would like to rebuild it if possible so if anyone knows of plans to build an Irish whisky cart, please send us some links. Then maybe just maybe, there will once again be a cart to be left for the next caretaker.
