Spring is making a slow entry in Northeast Pennsylvania this year, but we wait eagerly for the new growth and green to arrive.  Spring is a time to “re”new.  We look at the time to “re”fresh our rooms.  The gardens get a “re”design with fresh flowers.   We “re”plant our favorite herbs and fresh ingredients for our breakfast menus.  Things that clutter our spaces and are no longer used get “re”cycled.  As April is a month for green to return to earth, it gives pause for us to consider the ways we can help keep that new fresh feeling throughout our B&B.  It always makes us happy to be able to tell our guests how we are trying to give them the best locally produced foods.  The eggs are from local free range chickens, and the maple syrup is locally produced and pure.  We buy local honey and our meats are fresh from butchers in neighboring counties.  Visit us in June, July and August and you’ll be likely to taste freshly picked berries from our property .  We just love to bake with all the fresh ingredients and enjoy serving our homemade jams.  We hope you’ll come to visit us soon so we can help you “re”lax and “re”new you!
