Guests loved ’em, we couldn’t keep them on the plate!

Double Chip Peanut Butter Cookies

½ c. margarine, softened
1 c. creamy peanut butter
¾ c. brown sugar, packed
¾ c. granulated sugar
2 lg. Eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 ¼ c. unbleached flour
1 t. baking soda
1 c. chocolate chips, semisweet
1 c. peanut butter chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Cream butter and peanut butter in large bowl.  Add suagrs and continue to cream until well blended.  Beat in eggs. Add vanilla and mix in.  In a smaller bowl combine flour and soda.  Add dry ingredients into egg mixture and stir into until well blended. Stir in chips.

Line cookie trays with parchment paper.  Drop batter by teaspoons onto prepared trays, leaving 2” between “balls”.  Press down slightly.  Bake in hot oven for 9-11 minutes, until cookies are just barely done.  Cool cookies on wire racks.  Enjoy!           Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
